ARGENTINA - Province of Jujuy - San Salvador de Jujuy or Jujuy

San Salvador de Jujuy, commonly referred to as Jujuy and locally often referred to as San Salvador, is the capital and largest city of the province of Jujuy in northwestern Argentina. It sits near the southern end of the Humahuaca Canyon, where the forested hills meet the lowlands. It is the starting point for visits to the villages and mountains around the Humahuaca canyon, such as Tilcara or Purmamarca which are very touristy.
