CHILE
From the driest desert in the world (Atacama) to massive glaciers; Chile stretches on 4500 kilometers along the Pacific Ocean. Filling up the in-between are volcanoes, geysers, beaches, mountains steppe and fjords.
The Chiloé Archipelago is a group of islands lying off the Pacific coast. The Churches of Chiloé are a unique architectural phenomenon in the Americas, and one of the most prominent styles of Chilota architecture. They were designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2000.
Easter Island (Rapa Nui) is a polynesian island which belongs to Chile, with the famous Moai which are monolithic human figures carved from rock.
