COSTA RICA - Limon Province  Caribbean Coast - Beaches

Limón is a province of Costa Rica and the majority of its territory is situated in the country's Caribbean lowlands. The province shares its northern border with Nicaragua and its southern border with Panama. Limón is one of the most  provinces, housing a significant Afro-Caribbean and indigenous population. Puerto Limon is the largest city.
Unlike the rest of the country, Limón does not adhere to the dry-wet season cycle. It rains throughout the year, though the driest months tend to occur in September and October.
The caribbean coast is famous for its beaches, specially around Puerto Viejo, south of Puerto Limon, while the inland is famous for ecolodges in the wilderness, rafting, ziplines... and of course amazing wildlife.
