COSTA RICA - Golfito
Golfito is Costa Rica’s most southern port town and located on the Golfo Dulce. Golfito has long been know to surfers as the gateway to Pavones, just to the south, and to sport fishermen as the year round sport fishing meca. They also developed recently a lot of eco-lodges but we were very disappointed by the variety of wildlife we saw, compared to Matapalo, Corcovado and Osa Peninsula around Puerto Jimenez. Also guides aren't so professional, sometimes it's the bartender of the lodge!

the small airport - and forget about as in 2018 , Nature Air had refused to reimburse all canceled tickets after they were banned from flying by civil aviation. Fly with Sansa : www.flysansa.com, the last domestic airline - more serious as it belongs to Avianca
