Vancouver Island​

Vancouver Island is located in the Pacific Northwest, off the southwest coast of mainland British Columbia, and is the largest island (460 kilometres (290 mi) in length, 80 kilometres (50 mi)) on the West Coast. Vancouver Island boasts magnificent rainforests, beaches, mountains, lakes and pristine rivers. This is a land of extremes, both natural and cultural, where modern creature comforts exist alongside the living traditions of the First Nations’ peoples who have resided here for millennia.

Vancouver Island boasts the warmest climate in BC and Canada. The Broken Group is a group of islets and small islands in the middle of Barkley Sound on the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
