Colonia del Sacramento

Colonia del Sacramento (usually called Colonia) is a small historical town on the Uruguayan side of the Rio de la Plata. This old colonial city, founded in 1680, is filled with old colonial buildings and cobbled streets, and is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
