South Caicos is the seventh largest island in the Turks and Caicos  archipelago and is known for excellent fishing, both deep sea and bone fishing, and scuba diving.  The island boasts the best natural harbor and several fishing plants, processing most of the nation's seafood harvest of lobster, conch and fish for export and local consumption.
