BRAZIL - Pantanal - Capybaras
Native to South America, the capybara is the largest rodent in the world and inhabits swamps, savannas and dense forests and lives near rivers. It is a highly social species and usually lives in groups of 10–20 individuals.
The capybaras use the river beaches to dry their skin after swimming. They also find a nice and soft grass to feed themselves. Families of this mammal are often watched here.
