PERU - Cajamarca​

Cajamarca is located in the Highlands of northern Peru. The city boasts magnificent colonial architecture like the Cathedral and the churches of San Francisco, Belén and Recoleta. This is a land of history with places like Cumbemayon  the Baños del Inca (Inca Baths), the Ventanillas de Otuzco.
Cajamarca has also an historic interest as the place where Pizarro captured and ransomed Atahualpa, the Inca Emperor, for gold, before killing him.
