ARGENTINA - Cordoba

Córdoba is the second largest city in Argentina, with about 1.5 million inhabitants.It is in the heart of the Argentine territory on the Pampas. The city is surrounded by valleys, formed up by three main mountain groups. It is known for the colonial buildings in the center as well as for the beautiful hills in the surroundings.
The Jesuit Block and Estancias of Córdoba (Manzana Jesuítica y Estancias de Córdoba in Spanish) are a former Jesuit resuction built by missionaries in the province of Cordoba, named a World Heritage site in 2000. La Cumbrecita is a touristic destination on the eastern side of the Sierras Grandes (Large Mountain Range), 95 kilometers away from Cordoba.
