around Mendoza - Aconcagua

Aconcagua is a mountain in the Principal Cordillera of the Andes mountain range, in Mendoza Province. It is the highest mountain outside of Asia (although there are 189 mountains higher than it in Asia alone) with a summit elevation of 6,960.8 metres (22,837 ft). It lies 190 km bu road northwest of Mendoza and 15 km (9.3 mi) from Argentina's border with neighbouring Chile.
A lot of travel agencies are organizing trekkings and other activities.
Uspallata is a good location for lodging at 75 km of Aconcagua NP.
There is 2 roads to reach Uspallata : in 2 hours by RN7 or 4 or 5 hours with Route 13 with a good 4WD thru the mountains with a GPS as there is no sign roads.
