SLOVAKIA - Vlkolinec

The community of Vlkolínec was first referred to in 1376 and is now a monument reserve of folk architecture.  Its unique compound of original folk buildings remained untouched by modern construction.
This extraordinary and remarkable oasis of folk architecture was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1993.
