Spisska Kapitula

The most important building of Spisska Kapitula, which was along with other monuments inscribed in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage, is the Late-Romanesque St Martin's Cathedral. The cathedral has a massive form of a three-nave building with two towers in the years between 1245-1275.
The Spis Castle (Spissky Hrad) was build some 900 years ago, in the 12th century, on the site of an earlier castle. Now in ruins, it was one of the largest castles in Europea and is living as a tourist's favorite spot. Spis Castle has been added to UNESCO World Heritage list in 2009.
