SLOVAKIA - Levoca
The historic town of Levoca is a true cultural and historic jewel among the Slovak towns as it possesses a great number of architectural monuments linked with the glorious past of the town. It is one of the most visited by tourist in the country.
The city is surrounded by walls and has a unique renaissance town hall, burger´s houses, numerous churches and St. James Cathedral where the biggest gothic wooden altar of the world.
Levoca has been added to UNESCO World Heritage list in 2009.
