SLOVAKIA - Hronsek
The Hronsek temple was built between years 1725 and 1726. According to the historical notation, there was more than a 300 wooden churches all around Slovakia. Preserved are less than 50 of these sacral buildings from 16th – 18th century. There is only five of Evangelist articular wooden churches left including the one in Hronsek. The Hronsek temple, together with the wooden Baroque bell-house were enrolled to the World Cultural Heritage List of UNESCO in 2008.
