Subotica is a city located in the very north of Vojvodina, which itself is located in northern Serbia. The city is famous for its many great examples of Hungarian architecture (mostly secessionist style, a type of Art Nouveau; late XIX to early XX century, but also other styles), and a lively student scene, as well as many festivals. The city is multicultural (Hungarian/Croatian/Serbian) and thus has a very unique flavor of culture.
