The River Danube, which is Europe's second longest river after the Volga, rises in Germany and flows southeastwards for a distance of 2,850 km course through ten countries before emptying in Romania's Danube Delta.
Danube Delta is a 2,200-square-mile wildlife reserve designated by UNESCO as a “Reservation of the Biosphere”. Cruising through the Delta’s waterways give travelers a glimpse of the abundant wildlife and the traditional fishing villages.
