MADEIRA Archipelago (Portugal)
Madeira is a Portuguese archipelago that lies just under 400 kilometres (250 mi) north of Tenerife, Canary Islands, in the north Atlantic Ocean and an outermost region of the European Union. The archipelago is made up of two populated islands, Madeira and Porto Santo, and two groups of unpopulated islands called the Desertas and Selvagens Islands.
Madeira is a destination where you can combine holidays by the sea, in the mountains or in the city.
