NORWAY - Geirangerfjord

Geiranger is a small tourist village in the western part of Norway. It lies in Stranda at the head of the Geirangerfjorden, which is a branch of the large Storfjorden. Geirangerfjord aera is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Dalsnibba is a mountain which offers a good view on Geiranger fjord and is therefore a popular tourist destination. The Road 63 passes along the south side of the mountain, and from that road, there is a private toll road called Nibbevegen that goes up to the summit of Dalsnibba.
