NETHERLANDS - Delft
Delft is a mid-sized city close to Rotterdam and The Hague. It's a beautiful, unspoiled town with traditional architecture, canals and bikes. It's also home to the world famous blue and white ceramics. Delft makes a great destination for a day-trip or can serve as a base to explore the region. The Oude Kerk (Old Church) is Delft's oldest church, being built in 1246. The interior of this church is excellent. and famous Dutchmen are buried in this church, including Johannes Vermeer, Piet Hein....
