ISRAEL - Dead Sea - Masada - Tiberias

The Dead Sea is a salt lake  lies in the Jordan Rift Valley. The lake's is 430.5 metres (1,412 ft) below sea level, making its shores the lowest land-based elevation on Earth. With a salinity of 342 g/kg, or 34.2%, it is one of the world's saltiest bodies of water – 9.6 times as salty as the ocean – which makes swimming similar to floating.
Masada is an ancient fortification located on top of an isolated rock plateau in  the Judaean Desert, overlooking the Dead Sea. Herod the Great built two palaces for himself on the mountain and fortified Masada between 37 and 31 BCE.
Tiberias has been held in great respect in Judaism since the mid-2nd century CE, and since the 16th century has been considered one of Judaism's Four Holy Cities, along with Jerusalem, Hebron, and Safed.
