ISRAEL - Haifa - Acre

Haifa is a port city, built on several levels stretching from the Mediterranean to the northern slope of Mount Carmel. The city's most iconic sights are the manicured landscaped terraces of the Baha'i Gardens and, at their center, the golden-domed Mausoleum of the Báb. Haifa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Acre is a city in the coastal plain region, sitting in a natural harbour at the extremity of Haifa Bay on the coast of the Mediterranee. The old town has been inhabited since the Bronze Age by different civilizations and is now protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its citadel, mosques and baths date largely from the Ottoman era, while remnants of the earlier Crusader era are well preserved.
