Lot Valley - St Cirq Lapopie
St Cirq Lapopie is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in France. Its position was originally selected for defense purposes, as it is perched on a steep cliff, 330 feet (100 meters) above the River Lot.
The town is one of the best preserved in the area, and resembles an open-air museum of the 13th through 17th-Centuries.
