The Camargue is located south of Arles and is a place where man lives alongside horses, bulls, birds, the sky and water. The Reserve is one of Europe’s largest wetlands reserves with a large biodiversity, including 280 bird species. This vast, intact expanse of land benefits from total protection.
Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer is the capital of the Camargue.
