Lille is a city in the northern part of France with a population of about 225,000 inhabitants. It is the capital of the region Hauts-de-France.Vieux-Lille is a district located in the north of Lille. It is the district with the most buildings dating back to before the 19th century. It still retains many cobbled streets and some traces of the canals that crisscrossed the city in past centuries. It is populated by 20,000 inhabitants. This is the oldest district of Lille. It is full of cafés, bars, and restaurants where you can enjoy the scenery from a terrace.
