The city of Arras is more than 2,000 years old and is located in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region. The centre of Arras is full of interesting history, architecture and heritage: baroque squares, a gothic Town Hall, 18th century monuments (abbey, cathedral, theatre and private mansions), and Art Deco buildings. Arras was once part of the Spanish Netherlands and its explains the dutch architecture of houses.
