Bohemia was a kingdom in the Holy Roman Empire and subsequently a province in the Habsburgs’ Austrian Empire.
The bohemian countryside offers endless possibilities for visiting places of natural beauty, but also has lots of historical monuments. The charming town of Cesky Krumlov and the village of Holasovice deserves a visit and both places have been listed as UNESCO monuments.
