Hautes-Pyrénées
Hautes-Pyrénées is a department in the Occitanie region. It is named after the Pyrenees mountain range which is the border between France and Spain. Most of the highest peaks in the Pyrenees range are located in the Hautes-Pyrénées and the passes (Tourmalet, Aubisque..) are fabulous for their scenery and used for the cycling performance of the Tour de France.
Roads are very scenic with amazing landscapes, pretty villages and churches.
