ARMENIA - Alaverdi

Alaverdi is a city in Northern Armenia and the main city in the Debed Canyon of Lori, an area rich with historical monuments and natural beauty. The town itself has little to offer of historic value, but many monasteries and churches are located around Alaverdi : Odzun Basilica Church, Sanahin Monastery, Haghpat Monastery, Akhtala Monastery, Kobayr Monastery, Khuchapi Monastery and Khorakert Monastery.
