TURKMENISTAN - Karakum - Yangykala canyons
The Cliffs of the Canyon are located in the Karakum Desert and are between 60-100 m high, stretching over more than 25 km all the way to the Karabogas Gulf of the Caspian Sea.
The colours of the canyons change from bright white over yellow / orange to rust-red in rain. This deep valley region is considered to be one of the most spectacular sights – not just in Turkmenistan – but the whole of Central Asia.
