SOUTH KOREA - Seoul

Seoul is the largest city and the capital of South Korea, but also one of East Asia's financial and cultural epicenters. With a municipal population of over 12 million, and a metropolitan population totaling over 26 million, Seoul is a huge city which attracts tourists for sightseeing, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.
Seoul has a long history stretching far back into Korea's dynastic past. While few historical points of interest remain (most of the temples and palaces are reconstructions), much of Seoul's infrastructure is exceptionally modern and clean. Changdeokgung (Changdeok Palace) is one of several palaces within the city, and the only one inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Hanbok is the representative example of traditional Korean dress mostly characterized by vibrant colors. So you can't miss groups of girls, sometimes with boys, dressed in hanbok and traditional accessories in the area’s bustling palaces and main street.
Social networks played a role in the emerging trendiness of hanbok as most of the girls are often armed with selfie sticks and cameras. The pictures they take are often uploaded onto platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
