MONGOLIA - Gobi Desert

​The Gobi Desert is a large, cold desert and grassland region in northern China and southern Mongolia and is the sixth largest desert in the world. The name of the desert comes from the Mongolian word Gobi, used to refer to all of the waterless regions in the Mongolian Plateau.
The Gobi Mongols people are a nomadic tribe of Mongolia. Mongolia has a large share of the Gobi Desert which is the biggest desert of East Asia. The ancestor of Babur, Genghis Khan, clustered the tribal people here, they all together now known as the Mongolian people.
