Sandakan - Sepilok

Sandakan city don't offer many attractions for tourists, but it is the hub for visiting some conservation centres for endangered species of monkeys and also to visit some wildlife sanctuaries.
In Sandakan, the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre attracts tourists, giving them the opportunity to watch the orang utan up close in their natural habitat. A boardwalk which leads to a viewing gallery and feeding platform where the apes are fed.
