VIETNAM - Saigon (Ho Chi Minh)

Known by the Vietnamese as Ho Chi Minh City, as well as Saigon, this astonishing city, full of vitality, was the original "Pearl of the Orient" and is now the business center of Vietnam. Saigon has a nice colonial center, with broad promenades and squares and some French influence buildings that should not be missed, as well as nice temples and pagodas.
Nearby are the infamous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were used by the Viet Cong during the war.
