Eagles and Kazakhs

Hunting with eagles is a traditional form of falconry found throughout the Eurasian steppe, practiced by Kazakh people. In the Altai or in South Kazakhstan mountains,  the vast open spaces make hunting for animals almost impossible, so the local kazakh hunters have forged an astonishing partnership with golden eagles which can do the hunting for them.
Hunting season is winter and we will have to return.
