CHINA - Macau - Macao

Macau is located on the southeast coast of China and lies on the western side of the Pearl River Delta. Being Asia's well-known gambling city, it is a place to find the traditional Chinese culture while enjoying the exotic Portuguese buildings.

Macau was administered by Portugal from the mid-16th century until late 1999 when Macau was returned to the People's Republic of China on December 20, 1999 as a special administrative region.
