BRUNEI - Bandar Seri Begawan
The Sultanate of Brunei is a small but very rich country (petrol, gas..) located in Southeast Asia and Bandar Seri Begawan is its capital city. It's surrounded by Malaysia (Sarawak) and has two parts physically separated by Malaysia, almost being an enclave. The Sultanate of Brunei's heyday occurred between the 15th and 17th centuries, then entered a period of decline brought on by internal strife over succession and colonial expansion of European powers. In 1888, Brunei became a British protectorate until 1963 and Independence was achieved in 1984. The same family has ruled Brunei for over six centuries.
