PERU - Amazon River and Rainforest - Birding
The exuberant jungle covers the vastness of the Amazon Basin and the diversity of plant species in the Amazon rainforest is the highest on Earth. The tropical rainforest is the predominant habitat in the area, where up to 3500 mm of rain may fall in a single year.
