MOROCCO  - Rabat

Rabat is the city capital of Morocco and is located along the shores of the Bouregreg River and the Atlantic Ocean. It's known for landmarks that speak to its Islamic and French-colonial heritage, including the Kasbah of the Udayas and many others spots. Kasbah of the Oudaias (or Udayas), the picturesque medieval Almohadan fortress citadel, with commanding ocean views from the acropolis and refreshing Andalusian gardens on it's base.
The city's iconic Hassan Tower, a 12th-century minaret, soars above the ruins of a mosque and the Chellah - remains of an old city founded by Carthaginians, conquered by Romans and later passed under Arab rule.
