Asheten Maryam
Visiting Asheten Maryam (or Ashete or Asheton) takes two to four hours from Lalibela. It is possible to ride part of the trip on a mule. The Monastery is located on a mountain at almost 4000 meters above sea level with beautiful panoramic views. The monastery is closed but you can visit the church.
