Kenya  is a country in Eastern Africa and Nairobi is the largest city and the capital of the country. European colonisation of Kenya began in the 19th century during the European exploration of the interior. The modern-day Kenya emerged from a protectorate established by the British Empire in 1895 and get its independence in 1963.
Kenya is a country with deserts and mountains, colourful tribal culture, beaches and coral reefs, and some of Africa’s best wildlife attractions.
