BOTSWANA

Botswana, is a landlocked country located in Southern Africa. The country is topographically flat, with up to 70 percent of its territory being the Kalahari Desert. It is bordered by South Africa to the south and southeast, Namibia to the west and north, Zimbabwe to the northeast, and Zambia to the north near Kazungula. Botswana is one of our favorite countries for safaris in Africa. Depending on the season, the landscape changes according to the level of the Okavango river which ends in sand and never reaches the ocean.

Botswana have good safari games, like other countries, but they are the more expensive, sometimes for poor services and basic lodges. So during our last stay in few lodges, we didn't find the value for our money and we won't go back.
